Jonathan Owenson grew up in Merseyside and gained a degree in English Language from University of Central Lancashire in Preston. He now lives in Bangor Gwynedd, North Wales, with his wife and daughter.

When he isn't touring the cafes of Bangor high street trying to find the perfect place to write, you can usually find him up a mountain, in a lake, or, if he's on parenting duty, enduring the latest soft play centre with a latte and a cake.
